Nearly four years ago, Brennon Dulle received a life-saving brain surgery in the Royal University Hospital Neurology Ward that stopped him from having seizures. Since then, he has been working tirelessly to give back to the people that helped him get his life back.

This year for the annual Dulle’s Neurology Fundraiser, Brennon says it raised $42,000 in support of neurology priorities at RUH. Brennon Dulle says he has had two strokes, four brain surgeries and suffers from epilepsy. Since inception he says the fundraiser made $110,000 for the neurology unit in the Royal University Hospital.

Funds raised have gone towards providing new furniture for the nurses in their breakroom and for patients it has helped fund iPads, art supplies, puzzles, games like an X-box and a TV as well as a Netflix membership for the Seizure Investigation Unit.

Funds raised last year helped bring a neurosurgical stereotactic robot to RUH. On the RUH Foundation website it says a portion of this year’s funds will support Professional Development for staff on the neurology unit.
