A 61 year old woman was taken to hospital Wednesday night after she reported being assaulted in her home by a man with a shovel. Saskatoon Police say it happened at about ten o’clock on the 300 block of Avenue L North. The man got away with the woman’s purse, wallet, and cell phone. A canine track failed to find the suspect. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
