The Royal University Hospital Foundation’s 36th Annual Greek Gourmet Feast raised $65 thousand dollars to support the $1.2 million dollar Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for patients living with epilepsy.
Over the last three decades, the event has raised $1,168,000 in support of patient care, education and research at Royal University Hospital.
For 21 years, RUHF and the Barlas family with Manos Restaurant and Lounge have brought people together for evening of Greek cuisine and entertainment.
Health officials say the addition of the new Epilepsy Monitoring Unit will provide improved access to to in-depth diagnostic and treatment services for people with difficult-to-diagnose or difficult-to-treat seizures or epilepsy.
