City crews will be continuing sidewalk preservation and safety repair work across Saskatoon throughout the summer and into early fall.

The work is intended to improve pedestrian safety, address trip hazards, enhance accessibility and extend the life of existing sidewalk infrastructure.

Sidewalks were selected based on condition assessments, safety considerations, pedestrian use, accessibility needs and coordination with other infrastructure projects.

During construction, there might be temporary sidewalk closures, pedestrian detours, crews working in the area and short-term parking restrictions. Access will be maintained wherever possible and disruptions will be minimized.
