For six out of nine provinces, health care is the top issue in the nation. Angus Reid institute says 56 per cent of people in Saskatchewan believe our provincial government is doing a good job in that area. That’s very nearly at the top, behind only BC at 58 per cent. Health care is top-of-mind for 35 per cent of the people in Saskatchewan. The economy is the second big issue for four of the provinces. In this province it was chosen as the top issue by 32 per cent of those asked. 53 per cent of people asked here say the province is doing a good job on both health care and the economy. That said, economic pessimism is highest here and in Alberta with 33 per cent in each province saying they think they will be financially worse off a year from now. The overall assessment of provincial government performance is more positive in Saskatchewan than any other province.
