The deceased victim from Wednesday night’s two-vehicle collision south of the Prince Albert on Highway #2 has been identified.

A Saskatchewan RCMP news release says a 75-year-old woman from Woodstock, Ontario, was a passenger in one of the two trucks involved in the collision, about eight kilometres south of Prince Albert on Highway #2. Her family has been notified. The collision happened around 8 p.m. on July 15. The woman was declared deceased at the scene by Parkland Ambulance. The driver of that same truck, plus two other passengers, were take to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The second truck had two occupants at the time of the collision, both of whom were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Highway #2 was closed for a period of time, but has since been reopened. Prince Albert RCMP continue to investigate with the help of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
