Another year, another season of shows from Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.
This will be Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan’s 41st year. Shows will run from July 14 all the way through till August 23. This time a comedy and a tragedy will take to the stage. Much Ado About Nothing is this years comedy and has a pirate inspired look, and Julius Caeser will have a modern twist and is this year’s tragedy. The player series will also be happening alongside the regular performances.
Skye Brandon, the artistic director for Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan, explained that Ellen Remai will be returning this year to sponsor Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.
“She’s doing another matching campaign this summer up to $100,000 so if people are in a position to give anything, she’s in a position to match dollar for dollar.”
Tickets can be purchased on the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan website.
