The Corman Park Police Service has issued a traffic advisory in advance of the kick off to Ag in Motion.

The Outdoor Farm Expo is tomorrow through Thursday near Langham. CPPS says motorists can expect significantly increased traffic volumes with thousands of visitors from across Western Canada travelling to and from the event each day, resulting in heavier traffic in the area.

To help ensure the safety of all road users, reduced speed zones will be in effect on Highway 16, Range Road 3082, and nearby municipal roads in the vicinity of the event site.

The Corman Park Police Service will also have an increased police presence throughout the event which will include proactive traffic enforcement, monitoring traffic flow with enforcement efforts focused on speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving, aggressive driving, and seat belt use among others.

Ag in Motion is expected to attract 30-thousand people over three days, including a few hundred international visitors.
