A stolen vehicle was located on Monday afternoon with help from the Saskatoon Police Service’s Air Support Unit.
At 4:40 p.m., members of the ASU saw a vehicle which had been the subject of an erratic driving complaint near Avenue P South and 21st Street West. Meanwhile, officers on the ground learned the vehicle had previously been reported stolen.
A high-risk traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on 21st Street West between Avenue L South and Avenue M South. Five people inside the vehicle were taken into custody without further incident. The driver was screened for alcohol, and the test was positive.
The 36-year-old woman was arrested and has been charged with Impaired Driving, Exceeding .08, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle Under $5000.
