There was a stabbing around seven o’clock Saturday night. Saskatoon police say a patrol officer was flagged down at 21st and Avenue R by a 56 year old man driving himself to hospital suffering from a cut to his hand. Officers went to the residence on the 200 block of Avenue S South where the incident occurred. A 40 year old man, who is known to the victim, was arrested and is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault. There was also a warrant out for his arrest for Assault with a Weapon.
