Saskatoon Police say there was a home invasion on the 400 block of Queen Street Saturday night around 7:40. Five individuals were involved and there may have been a firearm involved. Three people were taken into custody. They range in age from 17 to 31. They are facing drug and weapons charges as well as Break and Enter. No one was hurt in the incident.

Shortly before that call came in, Saskatoon Police say there was a stabbing around seven o’clock Saturday night. A patrol officer was flagged down at 21st and Avenue R by a 56 year old man driving himself to hospital suffering from a cut to his hand. Officers went to the residence on the 200 block of Avenue S South where the ancient occurred. A 40 year old man, who is known to the victim, was arrested and is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault. There was also a warrant out for his arrest for Assault with a Weapon.
