A 73 year-old man from Edmonton is out $1022 bucks after the RCMP caught him travelling at 180 km/hr on Highway 16 just west of North Battleford during the noon hour Saturday.

Police received multiple reports of a vehicle driving at a high speed prior to police conducting a traffic stop.

The driver also had his license suspended for three days in Saskatchewan along with his vehicle impounded for seven days.
