Saskatoon Police arrested a 25 year old man early Thursday morning after he was reportedly found in possession of a firearm.
Police conducted a traffic stop shortly after 2am on 33rd street and avenue B, they say the man was in the back-seat of a vehicle and attempted to conceal a firearm from officers by hiding it under the seat.
The man faces multiple weapons and firearm possession charges including:
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm x 2
- Possession of Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
- Unauthorized Possession in Motor Vehicle
- Possession Contrary to Order
