Saskatoon fire crews were called to a house at 205, 109th Street West shortly after four o’clock Thursday afternoon about a possible fire. Firefighters detected a slight haze and the smell of smoke inside the house without any sign of fire inside. But outside, they found a significant pile of improperly discarded smoking materials underneath the front steps. That was the source of the smoke. Crews ventilate the house using electric fans.
