Five people have been charged following a shooting Saturday afternoon at hotel in the 600 block of Idylwyld Drive.
Two women, ages 19 and 24 and three men, ages 23, 28 and 31 are facing more than 40 charges including aggravated assault and break and enter.
The victim, a 33 year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A news release from Saskatoon Police says the shooting happened around 5:30 Saturday afternoon.
An off-duty officer witnessed several people flee the scene.
Shortly after, a number of people were located in a home in the 200 block of 26th Street West and were arrested.
Police believe the victim and suspects are known to each other.
