The final phase of Sid Buckwold Bridge rehabilitation work is being delayed. It was supposed to start on March 30th. But, Allan Construction has decided to push that back to April 6th out of consideration for its workers. The company wants to ensure a safe work environment during this time of COVID-19, by procuring additional resources, equipment and accommodations necessary. Rob Frank, Engineering Manager of Asset Preservation says the city fully supports any measures needed to help mitigate the spread of the virus while ensuring the successful completion of the project.
