The Rotary Club of the Battlefords is stepping up to help its community with up to $50-thousand to support food challenges during the pandemic.
Specifically, $3-thousand a month over the next 3 months will go to the Battlefords Boys & Girls Club bagged lunch program and $5-thousand a month for 3 months to the Battlefords District Food & Resource Centre for food supplies.
The remaining $26-thousand will be distributed as needs arise, with board consultation.
