Monday’s provincial COVID-19 update saw the number of people recovering more than tripled the number of new, confirmed cases reported in Saskatchewan, with no more deaths reported.
The provincial total of people having recovered from COVID-19 is at 81 after 14 more people were added to the total Monday as opposed to four new, confirmed cases. However, that number is up to 253 with 169 considered active.
The number of deaths, due to coronavirus, in Saskatchewan remains at three people.
By gender, 53 per cent of the cases are with males and 47 per cent with females. As for the demographics, 110 cases are in the 20 to 44 age range, 89 are in the 45 to 64 group, 43 are in the 65-plus age range while 11 cases involve those aged 19 and under.
Saskatchewan continues to have the second-highest rate of testing in the nation, per capita by province. A total of 14,178 tests have been completed.
