Statistics Canada says the economy lost 1,011,000 jobs between February and March this year. The unemployment rate rose to 7.8 per cent. It is the highest jobless rate since October 2010. Full time employment dropped by 474,000 while part time employment dropped by almost 538,000 jobs. Saskatchewan between February and March lost almost 21,000 jobs.
