Prince Albert Police say the death of a 3 year old girl on April 9th was a homicide. An autopsy was completed on Tuesday. No arrests have been made, but the Prince Albert Police Service confirm the girl and the suspects were known to each other.
Around 8 in the evening on Wednesday, April 8th, officers were called to a home in the 800 block of 17th Street West to assist in a call involving a person in cardiac arrest. Police report a 3 year old girl was unresponsive and members of Parkland Ambulance conducted life-saving efforts while on route to the hospital. She was later transferred to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, but was later declared dead.
