Melfort residents wondering why police were asking them to avoid a couple areas in the community back on Wednesday, now have an answer.
That morning two search warrants were executed and a man and woman from each home were taken into custody.
RCMP say they seized drug paraphernalia, unknown pills, unknown powder substances and weapons. The substances are being sent to Health Canada for testing.
27 year old Craig Natomagan of Prince Albert faces a weapons charges in addition to several outstanding arrest warrants while 66 year old Vance Shmyr of Melfort is charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine. The two women were released with no charges laid against them.
