According to the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics, effective immediately, they will begin issuing Pandemic Emergency Licenses.
This means former members, which include those who are inactive, non-practicing, retired, or other, may apply for a temporary, 90-day license if they wish to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In order to expedite issuance of these licenses, the College has defined criteria under which previous members can become re-licensed. This criteria relates to the time spent away from their field and the highest level of certification achieved.
The Emergency Practicing license will be valid for 90 days, at no cost, with the possibility of an extension as required.
