The Western Development Museum is looking to document the COVID-19 Pandemic, with a new online exhibit.
The Saskatchewan Views the Global Pandemic Exhibit is currently online, and features crowd sourced photography.
WDM Exhibits Manager, Diana Savage, is looking for people to submit photos from across the province, with images of how the pandemic is effecting them, their families, towns and cities. She says they hope it helps connect people and reminds them we’re all in this together, while documenting what’s happening in the province during these times. Savage explains, so far they’ve received images of people working and doing school work at home, pictures of shopping experiences and even the ways people are celebrating during the pandemic.
She adds, WDM also has other at home activities available online, including stories and crafts from programmers who usually work with school groups, and a video series featuring recipes from cookbooks found in the museum.
