A semi-trailer unit struck an overpass at Highway 11 and Circle Drive East Monday afternoon. The Saskatoon Fire Department got the call around 4:30. No one was hurt and there was no hazardous materials spill, but there was a significant debris field of broken cement that fell after the impact. Firefighters blocked traffic as they cleaned that up. A City of Saskatoon engineer was called out to inspect the integrity of the overpass which was still operating at the time.
