Battleford RCMP say they were called out around 10:30 Wednesday night to a business in the 11-thousand block of Railway Avenue in North Battleford where a robber wearing a mask and gloves, broke into a side door of the business and proceeded to pry open a gun cabinet. Several firearms were stolen and the suspect left the scene in an older model white Ford F-150 truck.

About 20 minutes later, RCMP were called to a business in the 9-thousand block of Territorial Drive after a security guard interrupted and attempted break in at a business. The would-be-thief fled the scene but is described as 5’7″ tall, dark hair, wearing a checkered shirt, dark pants, and had a back pack.

Battleford RCMP continue to investigate and say they believe the incidents are connected. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
