Saskatoon Police were called to the scene of a stabbing on Saturday morning. At 6:00 a.m police responded to a 911 call in the 200 block of Avenue D South. Officers located a man who was suffering from a stab wound, who was transported to Royal University Hospital in serious but stable condition. Members from the Serious Assault Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit were called to the scene, believe the victim and suspect are known to each other, and the public is not at any further risk.
Two men were taken into custody but later released without charges, police say the investigation is ongoing.
