Battlefords R-C-M-P are on the look-out and asking for the public’s assistance with locating two females and a truck associated with a shooting in the 900 block of the Highway 16 bypass.
At about 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, R-C-M-P were called to a business at that address, but could find no suspects. Witnesses and video footage of the area showed two women walked up to the window of a parked white truck. Following a verbal exchange between the two women and the truck’s occupants, a firearm was discharged and the white truck backed up at a high rate of speed, damaging property at the business. The women fled the scene and the white truck drove off on Railway Avenue, heading east. R-C-M-P are asking the public for help with identifying one of the women (pictured) as well as locating a white Chevrolet Silverado truck with Saskatchewan licence plate 721-LJK (pictured). Information is asked to be given by calling Battlefords R-C-M-P or Crimestoppers.
