Street sweeping got a late start this year because of the late April snowstorms and the freezing temperatures we experienced up until recently.

City and contractor crews are wrapping up pre-sweep activities, what they do to get rid of the heaviest debris, on high traffic streets. Curb to curb sweeping will get underway on May 25th.

For pre-sweep activities the sweepers will go around parked cars but once actual sweeping gets underway and moves into neighbourhoods, you have to move your vehicle. The schedule will go up on the city website on May 15th.
