Monday afternoon, SaskEnergy is conducting controlled natural gas flares at its Prud’homme Storage Cavern Facility which is six kilometres south of Prud’homme. Natural gas is released in a controlled burn in order to remove gas from the infrastructure before any work can get underway. Residents and drivers can expect to see a 20 foot flare coming from the 40 foot flare stack.
