Folkfest 2020 is being postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Organizers say that for four decades the festival has strengthened ties in the community with a multicultural celebration of diversity and inclusivity and are disappointed that it is not possible but felt it was the only way to ensure the safety of organizers, patrons and volunteers.

They acknowledge, that in the face of physical distancing practices, there may be many hurdles to overcome but they are exploring alternatives.
