Drug and weapons charges were laid after a traffic stop Tuesday morning. Saskatoon Police stopped a white Dodge Caravan in area of Eastlake Avenue and 12th Street East, about a block west of the Broadway Bridge, around 10:40. Police say 2 men were arrested and a bag was searched.
Officers seized a loaded handgun and about 6 grams of meth in separate baggies. A 42 year old man is facing 12 charges that include possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and possession of meth. A 48 year old man is facing a charge of breach of court conditions.
