The COVID-19 outbreak at Meadow Lake Hospital is now declared as over. A staff member had been confirmed positive for the pandemic on May 5th. The Saskatchewan Health Authority says the case was linked to community transmission. In the 10-day exposure period there has not been a single case discovered either in patients or in hospital care workers. The staff who were in close contact with the staff member began self-isolating and were tested. All tests came back negative.
