The City of Saskatoon says the new interchange at Boychuk Drive and Highway 16 is now officially complete. It actually opened to vehicles last year, but the surrounding work was just finished this week. Mayor Charlie Clark says the interchange is a sign of a growing city. Construction began in April 2017. The federal and provincial government each kicked in just under $11 million for the project, with the city covering the remainder.
