What was initially reported as an abduction in Regina, wasn’t an abduction. Over the noon hour on July 23rd, police were told of an abduction on the 400 block of Albert Street North. A suspect, with what appeared to be a gun, got out of one vehicle and pointed it at the driver of another vehicle. It appeared that the victim was forced into the other vehicle. Police have been in contact with the 24 year old victim who says he wasn’t abducted but robbed. The matter is still under investigation.
