A fire investigator has determined that arson was the cause of a garage fire on the 100 block of Avenue K South a week ago. Multiple 911 calls came in and firefighters were on the scene in under four minutes. The boarded-up building was fully involved by then. The fire was under control within minutes of the first fire engine arriving. There were no injuries. Damage is pegged at about $10 thousand.
