After witnessing what they believed was drug trafficking activity in a parking lot in the 400 block of Confederation Drive, Saskatoon Police conducted two traffic stops which they say netted almost 43-hundred dollars in cash and three cell phones in one vehicle and 2.1 grams of cocaine in another vehicle allegedly packaged for distribution.
From the traffic stops came two search warrants. Between the apartment in the 900 block of Duchess Street and a hotel room in the 100 block of Circle Drive West police seized heroine soft cocaine, hard cocaine, more cell phones, drug paraphernalia and packaging consistent with drug trafficking, a money counter machine, and $19,655 in cash.
Two men, aged 40 and 41 are facing drug trafficking and drug possession charges among others. A third man, aged 28, is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
At an apartment in the 900 block of Duchess Street:
403.74 grams of heroin
250 grams of soft cocaine
472 grams of a cutting agent
$2415 in cash
A money counter machine
Drug paraphernalia and packaging consistent with drug trafficking.
From the hotel room in the 100 block of Circle Drive West:
298.5 grams of soft cocaine
73.9 grams of hard cocaine
$17,240 in cash, scales
