The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is ending the outbreak declared at the Lloydminster Hospital.

Dr. Mandiangu Nsungu, Medical Health Officer, has declared the outbreak over after the standard 28 day period has passed after the onset of the last case that had the potential to contribute to transmission in the Lloydminster Hospital.

Visitor restrictions remain in effect for Lloydminster Hospital as they are for all Saskatchewan health facilities.

The SHA reminds the public that everyone needs to continue to take precautions to protect themselves, their families and everyone who lives in the community. COVID-19 is present in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and everyone has the responsibility to minimize the spread of the disease.
