Saskatoon Police say a man became aggressive on a city bus just before ten o’clock Monday night and allegedly tried to strike the driver before running off. Members of the police Bike Unit were made aware of the situation by the driver on the 200 block of 2nd avenue North. A suspect was found near 24th Street and Ontario Avenue but he ran off when officers approached. Police say he had refused to give his name or to comply with police commands . They tried unsuccessfully to taser him. He was tracked down to a recycling bin on the 100 block of Idylwyld Drive North by the Canine Unit and taken into custody. No one was hurt. The 21 year old is charged with Obstruction and Breach of Probation.
