For Moose Jaw Police, it started out as a complaint about a break-in and theft of a vehicle and dirt bikes. But it grew to much more than that. The advisory went out on May 22nd and within 30 minutes, it was learned the stolen vehicle was at a residence in Caronport. Officer was able to confirm this was the vehicle, and the stolen dirt bikes were there as well. A search of the truck uncovered a .22 semi-automatic rifle, a pellet pistol, mace, and methamphetamine. A search of the property turned up two more stolen dirt bikes, ammunition, and a compound bow. The recovered property was returned to the owners.
19 year old Jenna Lyle of Moose Jaw is charged with drug possession. 39 year old Peter Cox of Moose Jaw and 44 year old Seth Larson of Caronport face a variety of charges including Possession of Stolen Property, and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Larson makes an appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on July 8th and Lyle and Cox are scheduled for the same court on August 5th.
