For the first time in the 43 year history of the ambulance service in Saskatoon, Medavie Health Services West has raised the Pride Flag in support of PRIDE Week. Troy Davies, Director of Public Affairs says, “Over the past few years, we have recognized the importance to celebrate PRIDE Week by being a part of the annual parade.” But, he says with no parade happening this year because of COVID-19, it was decided to raise the flag at the company’s main headquarters. He says the tradition will continue moving forward.
