In the epicentre of a pandemic, six ambulances from Saskatoon, chase through the streets of New York. Crestline Coach of Saskatoon provided the ambulances as part of a shipment of 19 from a group of companies that included Demers Ambulances and Braun Ambulances. The vehicles hit the streets of the Big Apple in two batches; on May 19th and May 28th. The ambulances are needed to deal with surge capacity for coronavirus response. The companies pulled from in-stock inventory to make the rental of vehicles possible. The COVID-19 pandemic has been the busiest period in the history of EMS in New York, with call volume increasing by 50 per cent daily at the height of the pandemic.
