The City of Prince Albert is shifting from quarterly water bills to monthly ones, starting this month. The city says the move is expected to give customers a more timely view of their usage, what they owe, and provide payments in more manageable monthly amounts. Natara Kulcher, Service Delivery Co-ordinator says, “We’ve consistently heard from customers that it’s difficult to budget for three months’ worth of usage.” She says it can also be extremely difficult if a leak goes undetected.
All customers will receive a bill in June, but there will be a period of transition for the first month. Customers will receive an invoice for all unbilled amounts from the date of their last invoice up to June 4th. By July, all customers will get a bill for one month of usage.
