A Martensville man has been sentenced to four years in jail in connection to the death of an 11 year old girl.

On December 21st, 2018, just a few days before Christmas, there was a head on, two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 11 and 305 near Warman.

33 year old Anthony McClelland was charged with impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm. Two other people, including McClelland, were taken to hospital in the accident.

McClelland pleaded guilty and was sentenced in Saskatoon court Monday to four years less 89 days credit from remand and a 3 year driving prohibition. He is also sentenced to 1 year in jail for each of the impaired driving causing bodily harm charges, to run concurrently.
