La Ronge RCMP are investigating a fatal pedestrian hit and run which happened just after midnight on Sunday in Lac La Ronge First Nation.
When police arrived, they found a man with injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle.
He was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.
Officers were then told a call had come in to the RCMP Communication Centre from a woman claiming she hit someone.
When they went to her home, a truck with visible front-end damage was found and police say the woman had visible signs of intoxication.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Saskatoon.
A 24 year old woman, Sandra Halkett is charged with impaired driving causing death.
