Saskatoon Police say they have charged two teens after an evade police and weapons incident that kicked off around 1:30 this morning with the report of a suspected impaired driver on the Senator Sid Buckwold Bridge.
The Air Support Unit spotted the suspect vehicle, a truck, which they determined was stolen, and guide patrol officers to where it was located however the driver wouldn’t stop for police even after a stud belt was thrown out.
Passengers reportedly hopped out near Avenue N South and 11th Street West. Officers snagged two suspects nearby one of whom was allegedly carrying a concealed imitation gun.
The suspect vehicle parked at Dudley Street and Avenue P south where more arrests were made. Two males, aged 14 and 17 were arrested and charged. Two other teens were released.
