A 29-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon after being arrested by Saskatoon Police following report of a suspicious person in the Mayfair neighbourhood on Tuesday afternoon.

At around 3 o’clock Tuesday, located a shirtless man with a baton and a knife in a back alley near Avenue F North and 343th Street West. He was arrested without incident, despite appearing to be agitated and believed to be under the influence of methamphetamine. He was found to be in possession of trace amounts of methamphetamine in small baggies. No one was hurt in the incident.
