Yorkton RCMP allege they arrested a Grande Prairie Alberta man with 250 rounds of ammunition and a loaded gun in the vehicle he was driving. Among other things and they say the vehicle was stolen.

On Tuesday, Yorkton RCMP got an alert from the Foam Lake Detachment to be on the lookout for an erratic driver. The suspect vehicle was tracked down in Yorkton and a 29 year old man was arrested and charged with Flight from a Peace Officer.

While searching the vehicle officers say they also found multiple knives, methamphetamine, psilocybin or magic mushrooms, hydromorphone, various needles, naloxone and drug paraphernalia.

Simon De Lima now faces 21 vehicle, weapon and drug related charges.
