Starting Monday there will be no access to McOrmond Drive from Highway 5 west bound as crews continue to resurface the west bound lanes of Highway 5 and College Drive between Highway 41 and the railway overpass. This portion of the project is expected to last four days, weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. Saskatoon Transit continues to operate on a reduced schedule and may be affected by the detour.
The City of Saskatoon is going to start Clarence Avenue water main replacement project which takes place in stages over five months. Phase 1- Clarence Avenue from 8thStreetEast to 12thStreet East – beginning June 22 for approximately4weeks.
Phase 2-Clarence Avenuefrom12thStreet Eastto Colony Street – approximately 5 weeks.
Phase 3-Clarence AvenuefromColony StreettoCollege Drive – approximately 6 weeks.
Phase 4-Temperance StreetfromMunroe AvenuetoWiggins Avenue – approximately7weeks.
