Between March 13th and June 15th, the Government of Saskatchewan says almost 19 per cent of Saskatchewan residents connected with a physician virtually.

The province is basing its numbers on physician billings to the Ministry of Health. Of the almost 370,000 virtual care physician services in that time period, it included 122,000 video calls.

HealthLine 811 COVID 19 Screening Site has responded to almost 53,000 COVID 19 related calls since March 17th. The online self assessment tool launched mid-March has had more than a milion page views.

And the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency’s toll free line, created to answer non-health specific questions and to take pressure off HealthLine 811, received nearly 13,000 calls. About 1,700 were regarding enforcement of mandatory public health orders.
