A day after the first installment of Phase 4 of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan began, the second installment has been announced to begin next Monday. The province says libraries, museums, galleries, movie theatres and live theatres can re-open on Monday if they follow the safety guidelines.
The third installment of Phase 4 will include indoor pools and rinks, indoor sports and activities, casinos and bingo halls and those openings will be announced over the next 2 weeks.
Some outdoor sports and recreational activities began this week, but the government has tweaked it a bit to allow for games to resume, if physical distancing can still be maintained. On Friday, parks and campgrounds will be open to 100 per cent capacity for overnight stays and limited-term campsites and there will be access to washroom and shower facilities with increased cleaning and disinfection.
Locker rooms, shower facilities and change rooms are now permitted for gyms, fitness facilities, beaches, campgrounds, golf courses and facilities where outdoor sports and activities are played and change rooms in clothing and retail stores can now move to 100 occupancy.
